Project Mese - The Mitmit

Project Mese is my ongoing personal project themed around Hungarian mythology, fairy tales and superstitions.
As I'm developing the story of Mese I'm shaping its inhabitants, and now I feel comfortable to show some of the character designs with you.

The Mitmit

The Mitmit is a little helper demon, hatched from black egg shaped jars that were kept warm under the armpits of Wiatches.
It serves you until you can keep it busy with tasks, mostly to fetch something that is out of reach but the possibilities are limitless. If you run out of ideas they will annoy the living shit out of you shouting Mit? Mit? (meaning What? What?) to your ear.
To get rid of a Mitmit, you should give it an impossible task, like count the stars, or bring water from the well using a bottomless bucket. When a Mitmit can't fulfill it duties it will explode in rage.
