Project Mese - The Goemboets

Project Mese is my ongoing personal project themed around Hungarian mythology, fairy tales and superstitions.
As I'm developing the story of Mese I'm shaping its inhabitants, and now I feel comfortable to show some of the character designs with you.

The Goemboets

It goes by many names: brawn, head cheese, disznósajt, presswurst, hladetina, sülze... one thing is for sure: this thing is cursed. A meal that instead of being devoured it devours people. One-by-one it captured the inhabitants of the village, some of them are still alive and try to escape this hellish prison. Who can stop this beast?
