These are some of the work I did for a Visual Storytelling Course at MOME, Hungary, where we were focusing on concept art, comics, storyboards and key-frame illustrations. Our teachers were Márk Molnár, Gáspár Gombos, Attila Futaki and Levente Szabó.
The story I picked was about a hunter who sneaks up a demon that recently emerged from the middle of the jungle. He almost gets caught when he sneaks up too close, but luckily a group of native huntsman rushed out from the bushes and distracted the beast. The almost a week long, sleepless hunt and the dense, hot and moist environment takes a lot out from the protagonist. Later when he can finally have a clear view of the beast, he starts to hallucinate about how it starts to merge with it's surroundings.
The whole course was a blast, I can not be thankful enough! I've learned a lot and it was such a inspiration boost, that I instantly want to do more. :)
